The final race of the iRacing.com V8 Supercar Series Season One 2011 was run and won at the Silverstone National circuit. The Monday Night V8 Supercar sessions have produced some of the most memorable online racing seen on the iRacing simulation, along with capacity fields on an average of three splits for each of the two main Monday evening events. The standard of driving, competing and cameraderie has been exceptional, to the point where the iRacing spectator service has become quite the virtual corporate box. Silverstone National is a short blast for the big Aussie V8s with sub-one minute times. Getting the power down cleanly and preserving the rears is the key. As a side note, your author ran an earlier race and made split 3 with a sixth place. [...]
