Guintoli lined up as Pramac stand-in

Sylvain Guintoli could return to MotoGP for the German Grand Prix to substitute for the injured Pramac rider Loris Capirossi. World Superbike racer Guintoli competed in MotoGP with Tech 3 Yamaha in 2007 and Pramac Ducati in 2008, taking a best result of fourth with a spectacular ride for Tech 3 in the wet 2007 Japanese GP. The 29-year-old Frenchman departed for Superbikes, first in the British championship then at world level, in 2009 following a tough season with Pramac, but has now been invited to test for the Italian squad at Mugello on Monday
