Plato claims last-gasp pole

Jason Plato took a last-gasp pole position in the best qualifying session of the British Touring Car season so far at Snetterton. The battle boiled down to a fight between the works Chevrolet Cruzes and Honda Civics. Gordon Shedden's Civic set the first benchmark time, his 1m58.716s lap topping the timesheets for much of the session.
